On the last Sundayof May the "Green Marathon" took place in park "Switzerland" in Nizhny Novgorod. This is a family sporting festival, which thanks to Sberbank has already become a good tradition: in 2017, the "Green Marathon" was held for the sixth time.
More than 65,000 runners from 54 cities of Russia, Byelorussia, Kazakhstan and India took part in the "Green Marathon". India hosted the "Green Marathon" for the first time.
The special guest of the event was the Olympic champion, the world and European champion, the honored master of sports of Russia, the captain of the Russian national team in rhythmic gymnastics Anastasiya Maksimova. Vice President of PJSC Sberbank, chairman of Volga-Vyatka Bank PJSC Sberbank Peter Koltypin not only instructed the participants of the race, but he himself ran the most difficult 10-kilometer distance.
A great number of sports fans and people who lead healthy lifestyle took part in "Green Marathon" in Nizhny Novgorod.
This year, for the first time in its history, the marathon became inclusive. People with disabilities and health problems participated in the race for a distance of 2 km in a separate standings.
