InformationMore than 500 gymnasts from 35 countries took part in the Championship! The best athletes from Europe gathered in Nizhny Novgorod. For the first time the city hosted a sporting event of this scale. Large delegations of athletes, fans from different countries came to Nizhny Novgorod to take part in the European Championship, which we tried to hold at the highest level. The audience appreciated the feast of grace. Colorful action made a great impression on everyone. HeideBruneder, President of the Technical Committee for Rhythmic Gymnastics of the European Gymnastics Union, expressed gratitude to the host for the great work done on organising the event. The competition which took place in Nizhny Novgorod were watched live by the viewers of the TV channels of the European Broadcasting Union, the Russia-2 channel, and also on-line on the Internet. For participants of the championship was organized an extensive cultural program of acquaintance with Nizhny Novgorod - excursions around the city, visits to museums and exhibitions.
