Running Day 2017. Track and fieldrelay race

 Information

     For the first time in Nizhny Novgorod, Spring Running Day took place. In the program of the sports festival there were - "Race 2018", dedicated to the FIFA World Cup 2018, corporate relay race of enterprises and organizations of Nizhny Novgorod, family relay race. The festival was held with the goal of promoting healthy lifestyle and popularizing field-and-track athletics among young people as a mass and accessible sport.

     The Grand opening was attended by veterans of sports, Olympic champions and prize-winners of the Olympic Games, sports officials. The route ran through the area of Minin and Pozharskysqare, along Minin and Piskunov streets, Verkhnevolzhskaya embankment. The mixed teams of sports clubs, teams of physical training of enterprises and institutions, teams of cities and districts of the region, schools and children's homes participated in the relay race.

     The race ended with the race of the strongest teams. The winners were awarded with memorable cups, prizes and diplomas.
