The first forum of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation "Community" in 2018 was devoted to the problems of interaction between citizens and the state in the sphere of saving the health of Russians. The forum was held in the Southern Federal District on March 28-29 in Astrakhan. Among the main topics are the national cancer control program, access to medical care, medical tourism, the prevention and diagnosis of diseases, public-private partnership in the field of mass sports and many others. The preparation and holding of the first regional forum in 2018 was overseen by two specialized commissions of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation - the Commission for the Protection of Citizens' Health and Health Development and the Commission for Physical Culture and Promotion of a Healthy Lifestyle. The main issues of the forum were determined by taking into account the tasks set by the President of Russia in the annual Address to the Federal Assembly. Forum "Community" is an open working space for civil activists, representatives of non-profit organization’s and simply non-indifferent people who are ready to be engaged in socially oriented work. "Community" is a constructive platform for acquaintance, exchange of experience, interaction of representatives of the non-profit sector with each other, with state and commercial structures, for creating healthy competition among non-commercial organizations, presentation of best practices, and development of a system for supporting civic initiatives from the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation.
